This villa has proven unrecognizable after renovation. Only the structural walls remained standing, but even there changes were made. It has become a modern villa in the vast green plains of Baambrugge.
One of the most important wishes of the client was that a connection would be created between inside and outside. The villa has therefore been given a completely new layout, where not only the most beautiful sightlines were sought, but also the position of the different spaces was adapted to the orientation of the sun and wind direction.
The spacious dormers on the upper floor have created full-fledged bedrooms and two bright bathrooms. From here, high above the landscape, all seasons are almost tangible inside. The detached outbuilding provides shelter for the studio and a driving range.
A small detail that connects everything is the fencing between the villa and the outbuilding, which through its materialization and design brings the two buildings together.
