In Eerde, Brabant, we realized a modern villa, where the architectural design contrasts with nature and therefore stands out. It is the internal spaces that actually merge with the outside!
Much attention has been paid to the orientation in relation to the sun, to benefit from as much light as possible in winter and thus warmth, and as little sun entry as possible in summer. The void in the heart of the house provides much light and spaciousness.
In addition, the view of the surroundings was an important part of the design process. A wooden path has been designed from behind the front door, through the hall, into the kitchen and back outside. This path emphasizes the beautiful view of the rural location. Finally, from every room nature is visible and perhaps even more tangible.
